The Kingsley Recovery Spell of Recollection
"The Kingsley Recovery Spell of Recollection" is inspired by 17th-century ceremonial magick and draws upon both the Resonance and Psychological models of magick to assist in the retrieval of lost items. Combining established ritual practices with focused intent, the spell is meant to facilitate a deeper connection with one's subconscious, enabling the practitioner to gain insights into the whereabouts of misplaced objects
Setting:
An altar facing the North (representing the Earth element and material possessions). Ensure a quiet environment, free from disturbances and that materials are with-in reach. Always review before seeking to apply!
Tools & Ingredients:
-
A white candle (for clarity).
-
A small magnet (representing attraction).
-
A parchment paper.
-
Quill and ink.
-
A small dish of water (for scrying).
-
An incense burner with frankincense (for purification and spirit invocation).
Procedure:
-
Begin by grounding and centering yourself. Visualize roots extending from your feet into the Earth, drawing up energy to center your being.
-
Light the white candle and say: "May this flame illuminate the unseen, and guide my path to what's been lost."
-
Light the frankincense incense and walk around your space in a clockwise manner, letting the smoke purify the area and create a sacred space.
-
On the parchment, write a brief description of the lost item. As you write, focus all your thoughts and energies on the item and its significance to you.
-
Hold the magnet above the parchment and chant: "By the force unseen, draw to me, reveal where [item] be."
-
Place the parchment under the dish of water.
-
Gaze into the water, allowing your focus to soften. This is a form of scrying so allow images, symbols, or intuitive feelings come to you. These thoughts may well hint at the location or state of your lost item.
-
Once you've received an insight or have a strong feeling, extinguish the candle and say: "With gratitude, I end this rite. Guide me to my item, out of sight."
Closing:
Carefully dispose of the parchment, or keep it on your altar as a reminder of your intent. Keep the magnet with you as a talisman until you find your lost item.
Remember, spells work in tandem with the physical world. It might lead to situations where the item becomes more evident, or you might be reminded of a memory related to its location.
