The Grey School of Wizardry Paranormal Society (GSWPS) has released its second official video, marking a return to one of upstate New York’s most storied landmarks: Skene Manor in Whitehall, NY. The investigation, documented by our very own Magister Arthur Kingsley, continues the Society’s exploration of residual and intelligent phenomena through careful study and balanced experimentation.

This latest release documents an evening investigation within the historic second empire mansion, a site long associated with unexplained occurrences and an atmosphere of quiet intrigue. Building on insights from their first visit, the GSWPS team refined their approach to observe how the environment might respond under more controlled and consistent conditions.

During this second investigation, the Society employed an expanded set of tools including paranormal trip wires, dead bells, and a range of custom-built instruments designed to detect subtle fluctuations in energy. The footage reveals moments where these devices activate in sequence, bells ring without apparent cause, lights are tunred on by unseen hands, and readings change unexpectedly across multiple sensors. Each tool bridges the worlds of empirical measurement and intuitive observation, blending historical tradition with present-day technique.

Skene Manor provided an ideal environment for this work. Its architecture, and history create a layered setting for study. The team’s goal was not to confirm the supernatural but to observe how experience, energy, and environment shape one another in places where memory and presence seem to linger.

The production of this second video also demonstrates the Society’s growing skill in documenting and presenting their findings. Serving as both a record of fieldwork and a learning tool, the film offers apprentices a look into structured investigation and the mindset of thoughtful exploration. Headmaster Kingsley praised the work as a sign of progress within the School’s ongoing study of experiential and environmental phenomena, noting that the GSWPS continues to model academic integrity within a field too often ruled by sensationalism.

The Grey School Paranormal Society welcomes new members who share this spirit of curiosity. Membership is free for all current pupils and faculty. Those outside the School may also participate with a modest $5 fee, helping to cover the cost of equipment and travel for future investigations.

The full video of the Skene Manor investigation is now available through the official Grey School channels. Whether viewed as an exploration of history, or simply an intriguing look into the unknown, it stands as another meaningful chapter in the continuing work of the GSWPS and a reminder that inquiry remains one of wizardry’s finest arts!
