"Grey School Mobile" launches November 26th

The Grey School of Wizardry is preparing to unveil a mobile friendly website on November 26, marking the completion of a broad modernization effort that began in 2024. The improved site presents a clearer structure for readers, smoother access to core information, and a design that functions properly across phones, tablets, and computers. The release strengthens the digital foundation of the School at a moment when engagement across all campuses continues to grow.

The Headmaster noted that this has been an effort guided by both patience and purpose. “The School has evolved in many ways over the past several years. Our digital presence needed to evolve with it. We've taken the time to update systems responsibly, without cutting corners, and we are ready to share a site that reflects the maturity of our institution as we continue to grow.”

The focus of the November update is mobile accessibility. New mobile layout allows pupils review coursework, news, and opportunities wherever they may be. This change supports the increasingly dynamic nature of School life, including the now regular participation in vGSW, the expansion of live instruction oppertunities, and contributions to community initiatives that extend well beyond our conventional classroom spaces.

“An Education does not take place while sitting at desk alone,” Headmaster Kingsley observed. “Our pupils study while traveling. They check assignments while meeting with Lodge members. They read faculty messages in moments between responsibilities at work. To my eye they deserve a learning platform that supports their commitment, and I feel we have something great for them with this upgrade to the site.”

This relaunch stands as the final major component of an upgrade that has already brought significant benefits. Earlier phases reorganized navigation, unified branding elements, and simplified content management. Faculty and staff are now equipped to update information more efficiently, which creates greater responsiveness to community needs. The November release brings these elements together, giving the website both polish and practicality.

The Headmaster reflected on the broader significance of this work. “Every advancement at the School supports our mission. We teach a trade that requires discernment, initiative, and responsibility. The way we present ourselves must honor those ideas, and a stronger foundation online is part of that commitment.”

The transition will occur directly at the current domain. Visitors will not need to change login details or update bookmarks and the development team has already prepared for the next stage of refinement once the community begins using the site at scale.

As the School continues to expand its offerings across the physical campus, the virtual campus, and the online learning platform, this update provides confidence that the institution is prepared for what comes next.
