General
In this section, we cover the Campus as an official University environment of the Grey School and explain its role in academic and community life.

The School’s Campus
The School’s Campus is an official Grey School environment for live course sections, Lodge life, events, study, service, public welcome, and community participation. It is part of the School’s regular institutional life and is governed by the same expectations of conduct, courtesy, and responsibility that apply throughout GSW.
The Campus gives pupils a recognized place to gather in real time, attend approved School activities, participate in live course sections, meet members of their Lodges, speak with Faculty and Lodge Leadership, and take part in the shared customs of the Grey School. It is part of how the School makes presence and community available to pupils who study from many places.
Campus Overview
The School’s Campus is arranged as a living academic and community environment, supporting live course sections, Lodge life, events, study, service, public welcome, meetings, and approved School activities. It is not a separate entertainment space or an informal gathering room attached to the School. It is one of the places where the Grey School’s educational life takes visible form.
Pupils will encounter the Campus through scheduled course sections, School events, Lodge gatherings, public programs, quiet-use areas, administrative points of contact, and approved systems that support participation and recognition. These areas and systems are organized so that the Campus may serve many purposes without losing its character as an official School environment.
Because the Campus serves pupils, Faculty, Lodge Leadership, visitors, and School Administration, not every area will be used in the same way. Some spaces are intended for public welcome, while others are reserved for enrolled pupils, course sections, Lodge activity, meetings, study, events, or specific School functions. The purpose and access expectations of individual locations are described separately in the Campus Locations section.
Pupils are expected to move through the Campus with courtesy and awareness of others. A space that appears open may still be reserved for a class, meeting, event, or School function, and pupils should follow posted notices, Faculty direction, event instructions, and access requirements. The Campus works best when those who use it treat it as shared School ground, shaped by both participation and responsibility.
Access and Use
Some Campus spaces are open to the public. Some are reserved for enrolled pupils. Some require a School armguard, a particular School role, Lodge membership, Faculty authorization, enrollment in a course section, event participation, or a stated level of Campus Standing.
These requirements are not meant to create needless barriers. They allow the School to connect certain spaces, tools, and responsibilities with demonstrated familiarity, participation, and trust.
Pupils should follow posted instructions, event notices, Faculty direction, and ordinary standards of School conduct. A space that appears open may still be reserved for a scheduled activity, restricted to a particular group, or connected to a system with its own requirements.
Conduct on Campus
The Campus is part of the School, and pupils should treat it accordingly. Conduct in Campus spaces reflects upon the pupil, the Lodge, and the Grey School as a whole.
The Three Rules remain especially relevant where public conduct, class participation, group activity, Lodge identity, leadership, and School representation meet. Pupils are expected to act with maturity, honesty, courtesy, and care for the experience of others.
Harassment, disruption, impersonation, unauthorized access, deliberate misinformation, reward farming, interference with School systems, or conduct that harms the School’s reputation may result in administrative action. This may include warnings, correction of records, restriction of Campus privileges, removal from an event or space, review by School Administration, or other appropriate response under School policy.
