The Fourth Annual GSW Summer Conclave, 2024

Greetings to our expansive GSW Community! We  are thrilled to announce the return of our cherished Summer Conclave,  scheduled from Friday, August 16th to Sunday, August 18th, 2024. Nestled  in the picturesque landscape of 123 Poultney St, Whitehall, New York,  this gathering will serve as a celebration of our shared passion for  wizardry, bringing together Magisters, Apprentices, and their families.

Prepare  to fill your minds and hearts with knowledge and camaraderie, as this  year's Conclave is packed with exciting workshops, Lodge activities,  captivating presentations, and games. We  are also thrilled to introduce physical awards and Lodge challenges for  the first time, adding a new layer of friendly competition and  recognition for our attendees.

While Highspire Manor graciously offers parking, spaces are limited with enough room for 6 SUVs or 5 RVs. We recommend arriving a little early to secure your spot and avoid any inconvenient mishaps!

As  you step onto our campus, you'll find yourself surrounded by the rustic  charm of Highspire Manor and the tranquil beauty of our nine-acre  woods. This natural setting,  combined with the energetic pulse of our adopted Village of Whitehall,  creates an environment that truly embodies the spirit of wizardry in the  world today. Before you explore, remember to pack your sturdy outdoor gear, and be sure to respect our shared space by leaving nothing but footprints.  The woodland path, aptly named "The Wizard's Coarse-way," leading to the  Conclave grounds offers not only an invigorating hike but also a  meaningful metaphor for the journey we're all undertaking. Every ascent  is a reminder of our constant striving for knowledge and  self-improvement—a perfect parallel to our quests .

The magick begins with opening ceremonies at 5:00 PM on Friday, August 16th, and culminates at 6:00 PM on Sunday, August 18th. Detailed schedules and workshop lists will be shared upon arrival. 

So mark your calendars, and prepare for a weekend of learning, laughter, and communal bonding at our Fourth Annual GSW Conclave!

-Accommodation Details- You are not required to sleep on School grounds for this event, however if you wish to here is what you should know:

• Bunks: There are 6 bunks available (250lb weight limit), on a first-come, first-serve basis.
• Camping: We offer 3 camping spaces in the Manor's environs and 4 ready camping spaces on the grounds, all on a first-come, first-serve basis.
• Cottage: Limited space is available in the cottage, with roughly 4 spaces. The cottage has a hard floor, so air mattresses or bed mats are advised.
• Restrooms: Highspire has one Inside restroom and one outdoor port-a-potty for this event. Please plan accordingly.

Attendees need to bring their own camping gear and bug spray. Parking is on a first-come, first-serve basis in the Manor's parking lot, though there is overflow availability around the village.
