The second official Berserker Tournament at the Grey School of Wizardry has reached its thrilling finale, and the Whisps of Shadows Lodge have emerged as champions! In a season filled with sudden turns, bold maneuvers, and razor-sharp strategy, it was Magister Arthur who led his Lodge to victory, claiming the Berserker Trophy for Shadows!

The final match itself was a clash to remember. Prefect Perkins of the Sylphs came out strong, playing with bold precision that kept the crowd on edge. With a deft placement in the fifth round, Perkins forced two Whisp berserkers off the board in a single push, drawing a roar from the gallery! Arthur fought back, threading his counters with remarkable poise, but Perkins pressed his advantage, securing a hard-won 5–2 victory that brought Sylph supporters leaping to their feet!

Yet the trophy is not awarded on one night alone. Berserker is a sport of seasons, and it was Arthur’s consistent brilliance across match after match that secured the greater prize. His calm handling of early contests, and early season Full Board Wins built a season’s worth of points that could not be undone. When the final tallies were struck, the Whisps stood ahead, and Shadows Lodge claimed the glory!

The announcement set the hall alight! Shadows apprentices lifted their captain high, chanting his name as the Berserker Trophy gleamed under the torchlight. Though Perkins claimed the final bout, Arthur’s steady command of the board across the season proved decisive, a reminder that Berserker is as much a game of patience and vision as it is of daring moves.

The second ever tournament has set the bar higher than ever before, proving Berserker’s place as the Grey School’s sport. What’s more, this victory carries weight far beyond the Berserker board itself! By claiming the Trophy, Shadows Lodge secures a full 100 Merits, enough to push them by the narrowest of margins into first place in the ongoing Lodge Competition! The standings now show Winds and Shadows locked in a dead heat, each within striking distance of the Lodge Cup. With just a little over two weeks left in the term, every contest, every contribution, and every point earned could prove decisive! Apprentices across both Lodges are already rallying their fellows, for the coming fortnight promises to be one of the tightest races the School has ever seen!
